I got an email recently of a collection of photos of pets, usually dogs, surrounded by vast damage, torn up cushions in most cases. I think that my favorite website for these ishttp://www.dogbreedinfo.com/caught/baddog/caughtmain.htm. The site has over 20 pages of great pictures of damage, like:
And as the site says, these aren’t really bad dogs but dogs whose character or breed was misunderstood when the owner got the dog. In almost all cases, the problem is that the dogs don’t have a job, certainly not a job like the one they were bred to perform. In a lot of the cases, they aren’t walked enough to deal with the energy they build up over the course of the day. To improve the life of your dog, especially if you have an active dog, and to extend the life of your couch, the security of your trash can, and the time between clean-ups, call a pet-sitter and dog-walker. If you think you’re saving money by not calling, think again! Your dog’s happiness and, well, your happiness are worth the investment!
